Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SnapSavior ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

SnapSavior provides a service that processes Snapchat data exports to:

  • Merge overlay files (captions, stickers, filters) with base images
  • Embed original capture dates into file metadata
  • Organize and export your memories in standard formats

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Snap Inc. or Snapchat in any way.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age, or at least 13 years of age with verifiable parental consent where permitted by applicable law (including GDPR member states that have set a lower digital age of consent)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payment and Refunds

4.1 Pricing

SnapSavior charges a one-time fee of $7 for processing your Snapchat data export. This includes processing of unlimited memories within your export and unlimited exports to various destinations during the data retention period. Prices may change, but changes will not affect purchases already made.

4.2 Service Limits

Each account is limited to one Snapchat data upload. This policy exists to prevent account sharing and keep our service affordable. Within your single upload:

  • Process unlimited memories (whether you have 100 or 100,000)
  • Export to unlimited destinations (ZIP download, Google Drive, etc.)
  • Re-download your exports unlimited times during the retention period

If your upload fails due to technical issues resulting in significant processing errors, you may be automatically granted a re-upload. For other circumstances, please contact support to discuss your situation.

4.3 Payment Processing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Dodo Payments provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. All payment processing is handled securely by Dodo Payments.

4.4 Refund Policy

If our Service fails to process your memories due to a technical error on our part, we will provide a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Contact support@snapsavior.com for refund requests.

No refunds will be issued if you fail to export your memories before the data retention period expires. You are responsible for downloading or exporting your processed memories within the retention window (30 days after processing or 7 days after first export, whichever comes first). We send reminder emails before deletion, but it is ultimately your responsibility to retrieve your data in time.

No refunds will be issued if your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion without prior notice and without refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to process
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Use automated systems to access the Service
  • Upload malicious files or code

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to your Snapchat memories and processed files. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Our Content

The SnapSavior name, logo, website design, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

7. Data Handling

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Files are encrypted during upload and storage
  • All uploaded data is automatically deleted after 30 days (or 7 days after first export)
  • You may delete your data at any time
  • We do not share your data with third parties (except as described in our Privacy Policy)

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that our Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all memories can be successfully processed. Processing results depend on the quality and format of your Snapchat data export.

8.3 Snapchat Disclaimer

We are not responsible for Snapchat's data export process, timing, or format. Snapchat may change their export format at any time, which may temporarily affect our Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPSAVIOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapSavior and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. International Users

14.1 European Economic Area, UK, and Swiss Users

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. The choice of Wyoming law and the arbitration provisions in Section 15 shall not deprive you of the protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the laws of your country of residence.

For EU consumers, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14.2 Australian Users

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Wyoming, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Exception for EEA/UK Consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, this arbitration clause does not apply to you. You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
